My 6AM Morning Routine that Sets Me Up For a Productive Day
Hey friends! I am officially settled into the school year. So far, the key for me with keeping everything straight is my new morning routine so I’m sharing that with you today! I hope you enjoy 🤍
First thing I do when I wake up is I always start off with making my bed, I already feel like I’ve got it together when it’s done.
Next, I wash my face and go through my skincare routine. Nothing makes you feel more refreshed than a nice, clean face.

Every morning I drink my greens. Once the weather gets cooler, I will probably make myself a hot drink but for now a glass of lemon water has helped to get me going in the morning.
Now I am ready to start my daily bible and devotional reading. I’m personally grounded by my faith so starting each day off with a reading and reflection builds that foundation for the rest of my day. One of my goals for this year was to read the entire bible in a year. Each week, there is a different theme according to where you are in the bible and a daily reading schedule. The book also provides additional readings for you to reflect on as you read. Each week there’s a handful of questions for you to reflect and actions to apply to your everyday life. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enhance their faith.

Once I finish my reading, I plan out my day. I have found that this is the most efficient way for me to plan because every day is so jam packed that it’s less overwhelming for me to just look at one day at a time. I am loving these daily planner sheets that I got from Amazon. There is a spot to prioritize your top 3 tasks for the day, plenty of room for your to-do list, a clock to track hour by hour. I also love the meal planning and workout section. This really helps to keep me accountable. I can no longer use the I forgot excuse!

Once I planned out my day, I finish getting ready and start with brushing my teeth!
Now I heat up my overnight oats I made ahead of time. This really does save me so much time in the morning. Another time saver is setting out all of my lunch box items the night before so then I can just pack it. Lately, I have been needing lots of caffeine and protein so I combine the two to make a protein coffee!
Protein coffee recipe:
½ of a dairy-free protein shake (I normally use the Ripple Vanilla one)
Add desired amount of coffee
A splash of your favorite sweetener
Okay friends, that pretty much sums up my morning routine. My morning routine is all about setting myself up to have a productive day. Taking an extra 15 minutes to reflect and plan out my day has helped me to stay on track with my hectic schedule!
