My Self Care Routine to Reset & Recharge
With the holiday season here, there comes lots of fun and festivities but also a more hectic and busy schedule. Today I’m sharing my weekly self-care routine that helps me to unwind and relax so that we can get through the holidays together stress-free!
I always start with a detox bath! I love this one the most. This combination of ingredients helps to eliminate body odors, relieve sore muscles and even treat mild bacterial infections. While running my bath water, I always make sure to light a candle and diffuse some essential oils. My favorite is eucalyptus.
All-Natural Detoxifying Bath from Poosh:
1-2 cups of Apple Cider Vinegar (Recommended to start with 1/2 cup if it’s your first time using)
1 cup of epsom salt
Mix ingredients with foot
Soak for 15-20 minutes
Take a shower to wash off the bath detox. During this shower is when I exfoliate, shave, and wash my hair!
Next, I move on to my face. I begin with my regular cleansing routine. Then, I use my facial steamer to open my pores before I apply a mask.
I love to use a charcoal and clay mask to detoxify my pores. I linked two of my favorites down below!
I set aside some time to take care of any grooming I need to get done like tweezing my eyebrows.
Once I’m finished with all things hygiene, I take off the rest of the night off from my to-do list. I either watch one of my favorite shows or maybe read a book depending on what I’m feeling!
